Clarence Chubb

CAMP HILL Clarence Lamar Chubb, 76, died Monday, October 29, 2012, at his home. A veteran of the Korean War, he was retired from American Chain and Cable Co., York. He was also the owner/operator of the former Chubb's 66 Gas Station in Gettysburg. He was a member of the United Methodist Faith. He was born August 30, 1936, in Port Trevorton, to the late Rev. Clarence Lee and Alice Charles (Betts) Chubb. He was the widower of Margie L. (Gingrich) Chubb. He is survived by a son, C. Lamar Chubb of Newberry Twp.; three daughters, Lee Ann Trayer of Marysville, Kelly L. Hoon of New Cumberland, and Kristen K. Pool of Camp Hill; a brother, Ronald E. Chubb of Fenton; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 1 p.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
