YORK Latha Juanita "Bonnie" Evans, 87, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at York Hospital. She was the widow of Spencer Evans, the love of her life. A viewing will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Bellis officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Evans was born February 17, 1925, in Oakvale, W.Va., a daughter of the late John and Rachel McClanahan. She was of Full Gospel faith. She loved music and played many instruments along with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Phyllis K. Jones and her husband, Robert; a son, Larry Q. Evans and his wife, Judy; eight grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Mark Jones, Luke Jones and his wife, Irene, Tony Evans, Jody Evans, Larry Q. Evans, Jr., Rachel Evans, and Amanda and Brent Leppo; great-grandchildren, Travis Jones and his wife, Rachel, Brittany and Bridgette, Cole, and Teal Jones, Brianna, Nathan, and Amber, Josephine, Nicholas, Landen, Logan, Alex, Cassie, Sabrina, and Miranda; great-great-grandchildren, Jayden, Kalissa, and Eli; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her. She was the last of her brothers and sisters, Leonard, Doc, Cecil, Paul, Omega, Sadie, Beadie, and Billie. Flowers are accepted. KefferFH.com
