FELTON Keith L. Lutz, 68, entered into rest after a lengthy illness at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Donna S. (Kashner) Lutz whom he married November 14, 1991. The couple celebrated 21 years together. He was born in Coaldale, on October 12, 1944, and was the son of the late Jay and Jane H. (Herr) Lutz. Keith was a policeman with the former York Township Police Dept., now York Area Regional Police, for 25 years, retiring in 1995. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by one son, Keith J. Lutz of York and his wife, Dana; two stepchildren, Angelia M. Goodfellow of Brogue and husband, Ryan, and Randall Shaeffer of Fort Worth, Texas, and wife, Casey; six grandchildren, Colton, Bryce, Alyiah, Abby, Adrianne, and Michael; three brothers, Jay Lutz of Columbia, Barry Lutz of Bethlehem, and Kirk Lutz of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Family and friends are invited to extend their condolences on Monday, November 19, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard B. Starr, retired Lutheran pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard and and York Area Regional Police Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Animal Rescue, Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349.
