YORK Earl D. Pipher, 83, of Spring Garden Township, died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the husband of Faye D. (Neiman) Pipher. Born May 25, 1929, in Dover Township, he was a son of the late John and Ruth (Chronister) Pipher. He was retired from Belknap Company and its predecessor, PA&S Small Company. He was also the owner and operator of regionally well known Pipher Catering. Mr. Pipher also served as a Spring Garden Commissioner for many years. He was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, where he served on Church Council; Hillcrest Lions Club, where he was a recipient of the Leo Award; and Victory Fire Company. He had also been active with the Boy Scouts of America and was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Bottle Collectors Association. In addition to his wife of 63 years, Mr. Pipher is survived by two daughters, Amy M. O'Donnell and Ann E. Pipher, both of York; three sons, Dr. David R. Pipher of Pittsburgh, Steven E. Pipher of Mount Wolf, and Richard E. Pipher, of York; seven grandchildren, Katie, Dilly, Cody, Steven, Erin, Lauren, and Alex; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Dakota. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Pipher. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 1907 Hollywood Drive, York, with his Pastor, Elizabeth Polanzke, officiating. Visitations will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be private. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S.
