YORK Earl L. Walker, 93, former resident of Autumn House East, died Friday, November 16, 2012, at the York County Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Sarah L. (Lehr) Walker. Earl was born on July 14, 1919, in York, a son of the late Martin and Sadie (Rauhauser) Walker. He retired from the maintenance department of Precision Components Corp. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army. Earl was a member of the Pleasureville United Methodist Church. There will be no viewing. The graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Prospect Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Steven M. Livermore officiating. The funeral procession will form at the Pennsylvania Ave. entrance of the cemetery beginning at 10:40 a.m. The family will receive friends at a luncheon following the graveside service at Pleasureville U.M. Church, 2606 N. Sherman St., York. Earl is survived two sons, Barry L. "Skip" Walker, husband of Carol, and Michael E. Walker, all of York; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was the last surviving of five children. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasureville U.M. Church, 2606 N.
