RED LION Judy L. (Jackson) Tracey, 65, formerly of Shrewsbury, died Friday November 16, 2012, at York Hospital, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Tracey. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday November 21, 2012 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with Rev. David Burk, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Judy was born on December 8, 1946, in California, a daughter of Dorothy I. (Hess) Jackson of York and the late Estle W. "Jack" Jackson. She had been employed as a Cashier with Tom's Convenience Store in Shrewsbury for 25 years. She also leaves two sons, Joseph S. Tracey, Jr. and his wife Caroline of Red Lion and James G. Tracey of York; two grandchildren, Kayla and Zachary; three sisters, Brenda Joines of Stewartstown, Virginia Jackson of York and Karen Tracey of Jarrettsville, Md. She was also predeceased by a brother, Larry Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 2951 Whiteford Road, Suite 304, York, PA 17402; or to the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA 17327, to help defray funeral expenses.
