FELTON Robert "Bob" Gene Henise, 80, passed away peacefully after a long, lengthy illness on Tuesday, November 19, 2012, at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy. He was the husband of Darlene Henise to whom he was married for 38 years. Mr. Henise was born May 2, 1932, in Windsor Township, the son of the late Harvey Henise and the late Evelyn (Kraft) Damey and step son of the late Donald Damey. A funeral service to celebrate Mr. Henise's life will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St. Dallastown, with Pastor Steve Schmuck officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. "Bob" was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW in Red Lion and the American Legion in Stewartstown. He had been employed by Goodling-Shipley for 17 years and then AMP for 12 years. Mr. Henise is survived by four children, Judy Stiffler of Felton, Wayne Getz of Red Lion, Tara Henise-Krout of Felton, and Wesley Henise of Felton; two brothers, Roy Henise of York, George Henise of Hellam; one sister, Mary Ellen Bentz of York; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and step-father, he was predeceased by a son, Thomas G. Henise; a sister, Doris Gemmill; and a brother, Barry Henise.
