RED LION Rosa "Rosie" Mae (Wright) Tarbet, aka Miss T, 69, entered into rest unexpectedly at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at at York Hospital. She was the wife of Charles T. Tarbet, whom she married on September 17, 1971. She was born in Pittsburgh, on February 27, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Elizabeth H. (Moore) Wright. Mrs. Tarbet was a Home Engineer. Rosa started the Meals on Wheels program in Red Lion, was a former Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and she enjoyed working with ceramics. In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by a son, Brian Thomas Tarbet of Red Lion; a daughter, Ramara Wilson of Red Lion; three grandchildren, Kiwane E. Tarbet, Tayshaun W. Tarbet, and Isiah T. Tarbet; a great-grand-daughter, Amarushakur Rosa Harris; a brother, Joseph M. Wright of New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, November 30, at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephany S. Sechrist, retired U.M. pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery on Felton Road, Red Lion. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund, 912 S. George St., York, PA 17403. Rosa was a wonderful wife to Charles for 41 years and the "Light of his Life", as well as mother and grandmother. She always put her family's needs and those of others before her own. She was known as everyone's Aunt Rosie. We will miss her greatly but know that our Guardian Angel will always be near!
