Thomasville-Rae E. Grim, 89, of Paradise Township, died at 9:57 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of Donald E. Grim. Born August 20, 1923, in York, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Paupe) Ettline. She worked as the bookkeeper and secretary for her husband's business, Donald Grim General Contracting, for 49 years, and prior to that had worked at Dentsply International. She was a member of the Hanover Country Club, where she was active in tennis and golf, and had been a member of the 19 Holers, and more recently the 9 Holers of the Club. In addition to her husband of 49 years, Mrs. Grim is survived by two daughters, Inez C. Foose, of New York City, and Barbara R. Foose of Spring Grove and Wellington, Florida; and two grandchildren, Keith Foose and Peyton Pugel. She was also preceded in death by son, Clarence N. Foose, III; four brothers, John, George, Fred, and Paul Ettline; and three sisters, Helen Reuter, Louise Eppley, and Dorothy Berkheimer. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S. George St., York, (the former Hahn Home). Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Private burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
