GLEN ROCK Linda L. Black, 61, died Monday, December 17, 2012, at her home on Toad Valley road where she resided with her sister Brenda McLane. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with Rev. Katie Brantner officiating. Please dress causal for the service. Burial will be in Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Miss. Black was born on March 20, 1951, in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Henry M. and Almeda M (Hengst) Black. She attended Friendship Elementary School for special needs. She enjoyed coloring, painting, and work search books. She leaves behind, six sisters, Lucienne Laughman of New Freedom, Earlene L. Burns and Brenda McLane, both of Glen Rock, Faye Black of Shrewsbury, Marlene Stine of Dallastown, and Blanche Bull of Parkton, Md.; four brothers, Paul Black of York, Earl Black and William Black, both of New Freedom, Henry Black, Jr. of Felton; she also leaves many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
