YORK Linda L. (Beaver) Fry, 74, died on Monday, December 17, 2012, at 7:01 a.m. at Manor Care Health Services North. She was the wife of the late Carl W. "Red" "Bud" Fry who died on April 13, 2008. There will be no viewing. Following cremation with Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, a visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will follow at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Sheresa Simpson-Rice, pastor of St. Paul's (Red Run) UCC, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Fry was born August 21, 1938, in York and was the daughter of the late Fred and Rosella (Cover) Beaver. She was an office manager with Delphic Medical Center (now Wellspan) and a member of Shiloh American Legion Post #791 Ladies Auxiliary who loved cross stitching, spending time with family and traveling. Mrs. Fry is survived by two sons, Ed Naylor of York and Fred Naylor of St. Mary's, Ga.; a daughter, Deborah J. Myers of East Berlin; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Karen Myers of York. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Ed Naylor, Sr. and an infant son, Fred Naylor.
