YORK Helen I. (Rebert) Neiser, 85, formerly of Jefferson, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was the loving wife of Donald L. Neiser, who passed away in 2001. Helen was born in N. Codorus Township, on January 1, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Sarah (Depfer) Rebert and Jonathan S. Rebert. She graduated from Codorus Township High School class of 1944 and from Elizabethtown College in 1948. She was a lifetime member of Christ United Church of Christ in Jefferson. She is survived by her son, David L. Neiser and wife, Bethann of York; her daughters, Susan E. Murawski and husband, John of Hornell, N.Y., and Sally A. Neiser of Orange, Calif.; her five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her brother, Robert E. Rebert of Jefferson, and her sister, Miriam A. Maxell of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Christ United Church of Christ, 32 Baltimore St., Codorus, PA 17311 with the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband following the service at Jefferson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church. Family services are under the direction of Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC of Spring Grove.
