MECHANICSBURG Donald E. Leaman, 71, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Don was born December 18, 1941 in Tanzania, Africa, to the late Jacob Eby and Elva Irene (Eshleman) Leaman. He was a painter for M&J Painting; ECI, Dillsburg and self employed for D&B Leaman Painting. He was a member of the Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill. He was a member of IUPAT (International Union of Painters & Allied Trades), Washington, D.C. Surviving are his wife, Faye (Rockwell) Leaman; two children, Melody (Leaman) Patrick and her husband Dana, Dillsburg, Jeffrey Leaman and his wife Tracy (Reffeor), Rock Hill, S.C.; his first wife, Barbara (Coldren) Leaman, Dillsburg; six siblings, Frank Leaman, Dallastown, James Leaman, York, Esther Woodring, Manchester, Betty Baer, Hyden, Ky., David Leaman, Waynesboro, and Mel Leaman, West Grove; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the New Life Assembly of God, 397 Bridgeport Road, Landisburg, 17040 with his son officiating. The viewing will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in the New Life Assembly of God Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville.
