Myers Yingling HANOVER Jacquelin (Jackie) Louise Myers Yingling, Hanover, entered into Paradise on January 23, 2013 at the Brethren Home Community in New Oxford, PA. She was 80 years old. Jackie was the widow of Richard Bruce Yingling, Sr., to whom she was married for 46 years. Born in Hanover, PA on March 1, 1932 to the late Luther P. and Evelyn Martz Myers, Jackie lived in Hanover and West York, graduating from Eichelberger High School, Hanover, in 1950. After her marriage in 1951, she lived in Gettysburg and Hanover, where she and her husband Dick raised four children. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, and active in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover, where she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher. Jackie is survived by four children; The Rt. Rev. Barry E. Yingling, CSSS, York; Dr. Barbara J. Yingling Wert, and her husband Barry, of Winfield, PA; R. Bruce Yingling, Jr., and his wife Denise, of Thomasville, PA; and Susan E. Davies, and her companion Robert Frock, of Hanover. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Ryan, and Erin, and two great-grandchildren, Averie and Brayden. She also leaves a brother, Nelson Myers, Hanover; and a sister, Sandra Smith, Spring Grove. Another sister, Jeanne, died in infancy. Funeral services will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing before, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser will officiate with Bishop Yingling officiating at the committal at York Road Cemetery. A viewing will also be held at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, Friday, January 25, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. where there will be prayers and a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W.
