YORK TWP. Gus (Papalazarou) Pappas, 84, died February 1, 2013, at Rest Haven. He was the husband of June Ann (Gemmill) Pappas. They shared 22 years of marriage. He was born on March 24, 1928, in Clarksburg, W.Va., one of seven children of the late Petro and Margaret (Pitianou) Papalazarou. He was a jockey at numerous race tracks and retired from Olin Corp. In addition to his wife Gus is also survived by six children, John, Marcella, Trudy, Cindy, Galen, and Tracy; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John G. Pappas; three brothers, Tony, Jimmy, Nick; and two sisters, Irene Skazsis and Katie Lambrose. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Jehovah's Witness Red Lion Congregation, 395 Boxwood Rd. Red Lion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jehovah's Witness Red Lion Congregation, 395 Boxwood Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356. Arrangements entrusted to the John W.
