WRIGHTSVILLE George V. Fisher, 75, died on Friday, February 8, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Agnes A. (Frey) Fisher, together they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Born in Wrightsville, on August 7, 1937, he was the son of the late Norman S. and Helen (Wallick) Fisher. He served in the Air Force from 1956-1959. George worked as a machine operator for Reelomatic for 26 years and for Rusco Hydraulics for 18 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wrightsville and he was also an avid fisherman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Stephen G. Fisher and his wife Amy of Dover; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Smith of Mountville; four grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda and Allison Fisher and Ashley Tomlinson; one great-grandson, Caiden; a sister, Norma Bupp of York; his twin brother, Larry Fisher and his wife Jolene of Wrightsville; sister, Wanda Wible and her husband James of Stewartstown; and a sister, Sandy Webb and her husband Donald of Stewartstown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Westa Poff. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 243 Hellam St., Wrightsville, with the Rev. Barbara A. Caruana officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
