WINDSOR Tommy R. Ely, 73, of Lower Windsor Township, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Manor Care Health Services - South. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Eyler) Ely. Mr. and Mrs. Ely observed their 49th wedding anniversary on June 29, 2012. Tommy was born in Lower Windsor Township, on September 27, 1939, a son of the late Hiram and Rosetta (Emenheiser) Ely. He retired from Penndot as a heavy equipment operator. Tommy attended Salem United Methodist Church and was a member of Yorkana Game and Gun Club and Susquehanna Senior Center. He was a 1957 graduate of Red Lion High School. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tammy Ely of Windsor and a brother, Glen Ely also of Windsor. Following cremation, a memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem United Methodist Church, 458 Salem Church Road Windsor. Officiating will be Pastor Phyllis Hunter.
