YORK TOWNSHIP Roma (Gross) Deininger, 96, entered the presence of God on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Manor Care South. She was the widow of William A. Deininger. Born on November 30, 1916, in York, she was the daughter of the late Goldie I. (Behler) Gross Smith and Harry E. Gross. Roma retired from the Department of Labor and Industry as a supervisor. She was a member of Saint Pauls Lutheran Church of York. Mrs. Deininger leaves to cherish her memory, a son, John A Deininger of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a daughter, Jane Mendoza and husband Frank of Dallastown; grandchildren, Scott A Deininger and wife Mary of N.C., Peter A. Deininger and wife, Iman of Co., Andrew J. Deininger of IL., Kristin Deininger and companion Chris Webb, of IL., Scott "Eric" Miller and wife Charissa of Dallastown, Patrick W. Mendoza of Lancaster, Andrew J. Memdoza of York, Frank Mendoza, Jr. and wife Julie of Va., and Donald Mendoza and wife Stephanie of Calif.; nine great-grandchildren; four nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dona Altland. A Celebration of Life service will be on March 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. and a visitation one hour prior at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The Rev. Stanley Reep and Vicar Laura Haupt officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Seven Valleys.
