YORK Jean Eveline (Somers) Reinhardt, 84, died Monday morning, February 25, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Harold W. Reinhardt, to whom she was married from 1978 until his death in 1991. There will be a viewing Friday, March 1, 2013, 10 to 11 a.m. at Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with her pastor, Rev. J.P. Bohanan officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Reinhardt was born May 19, 1928 in York, a daughter of the late George W. and Anna F. (Somers) Somers. Mrs Reinhardt was a secretary with American Chain and Cable Company before retirement. She was a member of Bethany UM Church where she enjoyed many church activities and was a greeter. She spent many hours cooking as a member of the church's kitchen committee. She was a graduate of William Penn High School, Class of 1946 and a graduate of the former Thompson's Business School. Her late husband Harold and her, enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home. Survivors include: two daughters, Christina (Storm) Bingham and her companion, Taylor Riggs, Jr. of Bedford and Barbara A. Storm of York; one son, Robert F. Storm, Jr. and his wife April (Lanagan) Storm of New Freedom; grandchildren, Tiffany A. Bingham, Ft. Collins, Colo., Rachel N. and Ryan M. Storm, both of New Freedom; great-granddaughter, Brianna Faith Bingham Hengst and one brother, Paul Somers and his wife Joan of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Somers and one grandson, Brian G. Bingham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany UM Church, 1401 Mt. Rose Ave., York, PA 17403; or to Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Rd., York, PA 17402. Mrs. Reinhardt was a woman of faith and of quiet strength and was well respected and loved by her many friends, neighbors and family.
