YORK Madeline R. Sydor, 79, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Manor Care South. She was the wife of the late Stefan Sydor. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Church, 231 S. Beaver St. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Samuel Houser as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Mrs. Sydor was born January 20, 1934, in Windsor, a daughter of the late Samuel and Elsie (Tyson) Oberdorff. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. She was a devoted mother. Madeline is survived by children, Michael S. Sydor, Stefan W. Sydor, Mary Ann Rohrbaugh, Joseph W. Sydor and Christie A. Sink; grandchildren, Steven J. Sydor, Richard Rudacille, Joshua Sydor, Haley Rudacille, William Sydor and Marissa Sink; step granddaughters, Buffy Dehoff and Cindy Dehoff, step grandson, Tyler Sink; step great-granddaughter, Lydia Dehoff; and great-grandson, Steven R. Sydor; Madeline's brother and sisters, Nancy Oberdorff of Kentucky, Mary Graham of Red Lion, Dawn Bortner of Windsor, Samuel Oberdorff of Windsor, Sally Spyker of Dallastown, Carolyn Miller of Windsor, Jane Anderson of Dallastown, Susan Anderson of Dallastown and Jean Myers of Delaware. Madeline was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Williams and Ronald Schmuck.
