Hollingshead BLUEFIELD, VA Frank E. "Buzzy" Hollingshead, 64, formerly of Glen Rock, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon F. (Shock) Hollingshead. The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc. 24 N. Second St. New Freedom. Military Rites by York County Veterans Honor Guard is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at the Mortuary followed by his funeral service. Pastor Bruce C. Frame will be officiating. Burial will be in West Liberty United Methodist Cemetery, White Hall, Md. He was born March 3, 1949, in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Bisker R. and Mable (Shatley) Hollingshead. Frank had been employed by Packaging Alternatives, Ocala, Fla., as a Warehouse Foreman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam War and was recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, a Combat Action Ribbon and the RVN Cross of Gallantry w/ palm & frame. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #9640, Richlands, Va. In addition to his wife, Sharon F. (Shock) Hollingshead of Bluefield, Va., he is survived by two daughters, Kathy Jackson and her husband, Jim of Glen Rock and Rebecca Schaeffer of Bluefield, Va.; two sons, Joseph Spicer of Windsor and John Mooney and his wife, Linda of Bluefield, Va.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Bisker Hollingshead of Parkton, Md., and William Hollingshead of Red Lion; and four sisters, Margaret Trone of Glen Rock, Patricia Hollingshead of New Freedom, Gail Norris of Spry and Martha Norris of E.
