WINDSOR Velma M. (Stabley) Taylor, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Monday, April 29, 2013. She was the loving wife of the Ray W. Taylor, Sr., who passed away July 15, 1975. Velma was born February 3, 1920in Cape Horn, and was the daughter of the late Solomon S. and Estella (Roth) Stabley. Velma enjoyed watching her Blue Birds return to their bird house and her flowers grow, but most of all Velma loved her family. She is survived by her 11 children; Ray W. Taylor, Jr. and wife Norma, James Taylor and wife Carolyn, Robert Taylor and wife Linda, Barry Taylor and wife Rose, Terry Taylor and wife Nancy, Paul Taylor, Cathy Moritz and husband James, Susan Jones and husband Gary, Ruth Kopp and companion Steve Beyer, Donna Kopp and husband Randy, and Lisa Fuller and husband Rob. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren: Tim Taylor, Bonnie Warfel, Jimmy Taylor, II, Michelle Taylor, Beth Ann Lau, Brian Taylor, Robin Kelly, Blaine Taylor, Karen Welty, Heather Mercado, Barry Taylor, Jr., Terry Taylor, II, Mandy Taylor, James Moritz, II, David Moritz, Andrew Moritz, Amy Rexroth, Cathy Moritz, Lizabeth Kehr, Greg Lieberknecht, Rebecca Lieberknecht, Jacob Lieberknecht, Chloe Smith, Max Kopp, III, Damon Kopp, Corrine Kopp, Alisha Newcomer, Paul Taylor, Jr., Cora Tome, Meghan Taylor, and Amber Fuller; and two brothers; Kenneth and Vernon Stabley; 46 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to Mrs. Taylor's husband and parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carol Lynn Taylor; two granddaughters, Debra Hawkes and Nichole Kopp; brothers George and Paul Stabley; and sister, Janet Grove. A funeral service to celebrate Velma's life will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013, at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313 with Pastor Dennis Woods officiating. An opportunity to view will be on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday at 10 a.m. until the start of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Blymires Cemetery in Dallastown.
