YORK Roy Paul Winters, 62, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at his residence. He was the fiance of Linda L. (Wolf) Bunty. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Born on September 6, 1950, in York, he was the son of Betty M. (Lightner) Kennedy. Roy was a Supervisor for Borg-Warner, Inc. until his retirement. Mr. Winters was a member of the Shiloh Lions Club, York County Corvette Club and the Blueberry Hill Hunting Camp in Canton. Along with his fiance, Linda, Roy is survived by one daughter, Shelli Gannett of Ocean City, Md.; one step son, Chris Bunty of Dover; two grandchildren, Daniel Myers and Katlyn Myers; and one great granddaughter, Kasilyah Myers.
