EAST BERLIN Jacob C. Nell, 5, entered into rest Thursday evening, May 30, 2013, at York Hospital. He was born February 18, 2008, in York, a son of James M. and Wendy S. (Choman) Nell of East Berlin. Jacob attended Shiloh U.C.C. Early Learning Center and was looking forward to beginning kindergarten in the fall. He was an energetic, happy-go-lucky five year old who loved being barefoot. He enjoyed swimming, swinging, biking, climbing, jumping, and building with Legos. He also liked to color and wanted to be an artist when he grew up. In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by a brother, Tyler J. Nell; paternal grandparents, Edgar "Pappy" and Melvina "Grammy" Nell of Wellsville; maternal grandfather, David "Bauku" Choman of Burgettstown; Uncle Scott and Aunt Becky Crone, and cousin, Matthias Crone; and Aunt Shelley Kinsey and cousin, Sadie Kinsey. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Molly Choman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jacob's funeral at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Shiloh U.C.C., 2251 Willow Road, York. There will be viewings from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Red Run Cemetery, East Berlin. Officiating will be the Rev. David Danneberger, pastor of Shiloh U.C.C.
