JEFFERSON William H. Hall, 58, passed away at Manor Care North in York on July 14, 2013. He was the life partner of Michael L. Crone for the past 14 years. William was born in Philadelphia, on January 16, 1955, the son of the late Walter Hall and the late Frances (Sheridan) Hall. He graduated from Fairfax High School in Virginia class of 1972. He proudly served his country in the U.S. navy. He spent some time traveling in the circus and enjoyed being a clown. He also worked at Disneyworld and was the escort for Mrs. Disney when she was in town. He was the household manager at the Brown Estate in Maryland and more recently worked as a District Manager for Sunoco Corp. He was a member of the AARP and a former member of the Spring Grove VFW Post. In addition to his partner Michael; he is survived by his sister, Denise Schoell and husband, John of Levittown; his brothers, Walter Hall of Waynesburg and Bryan Hall of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews and four great nephews. He will surely miss his pets Boz, Boots, Digger, Louie, Cheeks and his constant companion Brody. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Hall and a nephew and godchild, Johnny Schoell. A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N Main St., Spring Grove PA with Rev. David Tietje officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The family would like for everyone to dress cool and casual because of the warm weather. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
