The memories I have of my great grandparents will be with me forever. Nan & pap were almost closer to me than my actual grandparents.Pap had a strong love for life, and had a kind heart. I will miss visiting him. My heart goes out to Nan and the rest of the family over the loss of the great man we knew for so many years.

God has taken home a true soldier. May the love of God wrap his arms around those left behind and bring an abundance of peace as well as joyful memories that will never be forgotten. I truly enjoyed the time I was able to spend with Grayson & Patsy as a substitute caregiver in their time of need. May he rest in peace!

To the family...We are so sorry to hear about your loss!! I to believe God works and mysterious ways and in this past week everything was playing into place. I am happy that they were able to be together. Grayson doted over Patsy so much, she was his world. He will be at peace knowing she is taken care of. It was great meeting you. I have heard many stories from Grayson and will miss his phone calls and visits.

Pap,
The song that been in my head since you became ill is "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow poka dot bikini" That was the song you sang to me all the time. I know you sang quite a few to Teri too. Your singing and your whistling are what I remember most about you, along with your joking! I also remember how you loved mashed potatoes and can still see your plate w that huge mountain of potatoes and always wondering if there would be any left for the rest of us! I believe my little boy Byron has your amazing blue eyes and my first born, Clayton, has your middle name "McKinley". So both my kids have a little part of you with them. Can't wait to see what Ashton will have that will remind me of you. I will miss you so much, but am so glad you are not in pain anymore! I promise to visit Nan. She's the last great grandparent and she needs to be able to spoil my boys and future daughter! Love your youngest grand daughter, Trin!

To my Nan....I pray for your peace and comfort as you have lost your lifetime sweetheart. The two of you were such a huge part of my world growing up and I can never thank you enough for everything, but especially the love you continually showed to our family and to others. I learned from both of you to share...give whatever you can to help others. We all will miss Pap so much....but I was so proud of you on Saturday and so thankful to God for the way he prepared you over the previous week. You are the head of this family now...and we need for you to remain strong. We have so many memories and pray your great grandchildren and even possibly in years to come, you will enjoy having a great-great grandchild to enjoy & continue making special memories. I love you from the depth of my soul as I did Pap. I will miss him SO much but am very thankful to still have my one remaining grandparent....my Nan to look up to. I love you, beautiful!
