YORK Kenneth Julius Moore, 84, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at home. He was the devoted husband of Dorothy S. Moore with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born January 20, 1929, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Erixson L. Moore and Ida Mary Moore, Ken graduated in 1952 from Loyola College of Baltimore. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Ken owned Yorco Insurance Agency. Ken golfed avidly, enjoyed many happy memories with his family at Ocean City, Md., and volunteered at the Good Shepherd Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Ken is survived by three sons, Gregory Moore (Julie) of Wilmington, N.C., Douglas Moore (Denise) of Hopedale, Mass., and Daniel Moore (Eileen) of New Gloucester, Maine; two daughters, Laura Meerbach (John) of York, and Patricia Moore-Martinez (Ramon) of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; and sister, Gloria Danaher of Lutherville, Md., and Cecil Moore of Conowingo, Md. Ken was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Moore; and a sister, Joan Moore. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 309 S.
