CONEWWAGO TWP. Marshall C. Busser, Jr., 69, died at 1:49 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marleen R. (Yinger) Busser. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, at Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. The service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Jay R. DuSold, pastor of Renew Community Church, officiating. Cremation will follow with the funeral home and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mr. Busser was born August 1, 1944, in York County, and was the son of the late Marshall C. and Margaret E. (Reeser) Busser. He was a former employee of AMF, owned and operated a chicken farm, an income tax service, Miracle Car Wash and Mini-Storage, and for 30 years had been self-employed with Busser's Septic Cleaning. Mr. Busser is survived by three daughters, Melanie S. Keener and husband, Chuck of Needmore, Melissa A. Toomey and husband, Steve of York, and Melinda R. Hatterer of Etters; a son, Marshall C. Busser, III and wife, Deb of York Haven; 12 grandchildren, Shawn and Eric Keener, Michael Toomey and wife, Jen, Rebekah and Rachel Toomey, Sarah Markel and husband, Josh, Mark, Jr., Marlee and Maxwell Hatterer, Marshall Busser, IV and wife, Amber, Cameron Busser, and David Potts and wife, Shannah; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Nancy Laster, Norma Chapman, Mary Gutierrez, and Janice Flinchbaugh; a brother, Zane Busser; and his beloved pet, "Tinkerbell". He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Busser. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 3544 N.
