YORK Frank Stephen Giuffrida, 80, of York died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Marlene L. (Heede) Giuffrida. Born September 21, 1932, in York, he was the son of the late James V. Giuffrida and the late Grace (Williams) Giuffrida of York. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He had been a vice president of Bob Yost realty, was employed by Westinghouse, Baltimore, Md., a salesman for Wright Brothers Lincoln Mercury and most recently owner/ operator for "The Little Buckaroo Texas Hot Weiners". Frank was a member of St. Joseph Church. He was a member of the Phoenix Club and had an avid love of dancing. In addition to his wife, Marlene, he is survived by two sons, James A. Giuffrida and his wife, April of Reading and S. John Giuffrida and his wife, Beth Weston of York; two daughters, Angela Giuffrida of York and Kristine L. Neidecker and her husband, Wayne of Sykesville, Md.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Mary Goldberg and her husband, Lennie of York, Stella Craig and her husband, Harvey of Morgan Hill, California, and Vienna(Bonnie) Feltz and her husband, Michael of Seminole, Fla.; and a brother, Stephen Giuffrida and his wife, Diana of York. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Joseph Giuffrida; and two sisters, Nena Keller and Millie Estep. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Saint Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York with Father Louis Petruha, OFM, Cap. officiating. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery with graveside military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Help Fund, in care of York Health Foundation, 50 N. Duke St., 2nd Floor, York, PA 17401; or to Saint Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, PA 17402. The Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
