JACOBUS Vincenzo Michael Locricchio, 20, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at York Hospital. A visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, with the Rev. Joshua R. Brommer, Celebrant, and Rev. Sylvan P. Capitani, Concelebrant. Burial will be at Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus. He was born December 10, 1992, in York, the son of Giuseppe Locricchio and Francesca Locricchio. Vince was a 2011 graduate of Dallastown Area High School. He loved to make people laugh, was sweet, kind and will be sadly missed by so many. His father recalls how he and his son would share their love for each other by saying, "You're my Vince; You're my Papa." In addition to his parents, Vince is survived by his sisters, Sara and Martina Caterina Locricchio; his paternal grandparents, Vincenzo and Rosaria Locricchio, and his maternal grandparents, Salvatore and Caterina Cracchiolo, all from Carini, Sicily. He is also survived by his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and by his friends.
