YORK George R. Kotzman, 90, entered into rest Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Gloria P. (Streiman) Kotzman. A visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Church, 950 W. Market St. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Carl Tancredi as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery with military rites provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St., is assisting the family. Mr. Kotzman was born April 14, 1923, in Williamson, a son of the late Frantz and Mary (Werner) Kotzman. He was an Auto Mechanic and co-proprietor of Kotzman Brothers Garage. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and was a graduate of York Catholic High School. Mr. Kotzman is survived by his sisters, Teresa Rose, and Sister Barbara Kotzman; and numerous nieces and nephews including godson George Rose, Margaret Baer, Maryjane Coleflesh, and Teresa Donohoe; and special family friend, Eileen Baldwin. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Ann Dimelow, Frantz Kotzman, Sister Rose Veronica, SSJ, Rose Groom, Effie Hughes, Veronica Smith, and Joseph Kotzman.
