Braydon, As a little boy my heart fell for you. Every time I had the opportunity, I looked out for your well-being . . . that is what true friends do. I wanted the best for your mom, but most importantly for you. You wouldn't let her touch your ready to come out tooth, but I handed you a pear and somehow the tooth got stuck on it and you laughed. . . . Years went by and like any little sweet boy you suddenly became a man, but in my heart you were the kindest most beautiful little toothless boy my eyes had ever seen . . . you still are. I love you. A vivacious guy with a big heart. Since I first knew him, we shared many laughs and a good bit of advice. What he didn't tell me outright he modeled through my childhood. Those things are at the root of my identity--and that's where they'll stay. S-L-M, peace be upon you.
