YORK Shirley Ann Hunter, 65, was ushered to heaven by the Lord's angels on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from ManorCare North. Born on March 28, 1948, in York, she was the daughter of the late Harriet (Meisenhelter) Kehr and Ernest Hunter. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Crystal Hunter, Shelby Hunter, and Tonya Hunter; seven grandchildren; and five siblings, Dan Nonemaker, Charlene Kehr, Emma Kehr, Verna Crone, and Jeff Kehr; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Alex Hunter, and a brother, Randy Nonemaker. A visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2014, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 8 p.m. with Pastor Margie Stevens officiating.
