YORK Aaron C. Anderson, 86, entered the presence of God, on Saturday, February 22, 2014, from the Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Betty M. (Horner) Anderson. Born on June 27, 1927, in Newberry Twp., he was the son of the late Minnie Rose (Quickel) and William Henry Anderson. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Anderson retired from AMF, where he worked on the assembly line. He attended Bible Baptist Church. Mr. Anderson leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Betty Anderson of York, four children, Sharon Becker of N.C., Todd Anderson of York, Shane Anderson of Manchester, Allen Anderson, of Pa.; six grandchildren; a sister, Freda Grim of Manchester; and a host of family. He was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Jean Louise Kreamer, Dawn Wherley. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with full military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Pastor Brian King will be officiating. Please meet inside of the cemetery entrance by 12:50 p.m. to proceed to the grave. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
