HANOVER Robert D. Rodgers, 81, passed away peacefully at home, on February 22, 2014, with his beloved wife Linda L. Rodgers, and his loving family by his side. He was born August 7, 1932 in Abbottstown, PA. The son of the late Earl and Annie Rodgers. He was the owner of Bob Rodgers Antenna Service and Arrowhead Jewelry. He served as a medic in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the New Oxford Social and Athletic Club and also a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He is survived by his loving children; Diana M. Pucci and husband Joe; Steven E. Rodgers and companion Janette Plummer; Keith E. Rodgers; Michelle L. Laughman and husband Bill; and grandchildren; Chelsy Rodgers, Nik Mensah, Jessica Rodgers, Richie Hoff, Derek Rodgers, A.J. Robinson, Lake Laughman, KinserLaughman, and Carly Rodgers; sister Nadine Nace and brothers, Charles Rodgers and Wayne Rodgers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen E. Rodgers and a son Richard L. Hoff; and brother E. Dale Rodgers, and sisters Violet Haar and Janet Geiman. Bob enjoyed spending time at his cabin with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his kids and grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the cabin for "kid's week" for 20 years, and working on his brother's farm. He was a member of the "Nine No Trumpers" card club. Bob donated his body to Science. A private service will be held for immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be held this summer.
