YORK Rick Gene Crone, 55, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014, at Red Lion American Legion, 23 E. Broadway in Red Lion, with a gathering to follow until 8 p.m. A visitation will be from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Pastor John Harman will be officiating at the service. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements. Mr. Crone was born in York, on December 30, 1958, the son of Gene Edward Crone, Sr. of Delaware, and the late Arlene Alice (Wentz) Crone. He was the owner and operator and an auto mechanic with ProBuilt Transmissions in Lancaster and Delaware. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he became disabled. Mr. Crone was a member of the American Legion in Delaware. Mr. Crone leaves four sons, Brandon, Adam, and Nick Crone, and Kyle Tollinger; four daughters, Sherina Reisinger, Carissa Sharp, Rikki Crone, and Natasha Tollinger; two grandchildren; a brother, Gene Crone, Jr.; a sister, Bambie Jordan; his stepfather, Dennis Leicht; and his best friend, Melvin Reynolds.
