Walter L. Elicker

DOVER Walter L. Elicker, 82, of Dover Township, died at 4:18 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at The York Lutheran Home in the Village at Sprenkle Drive. He was the husband of L. Marie (Miller) Elicker. Born January 6, 1932, in Washington Township, a son of the late Earl and Virgie (Zeigler) Elicker, he was retired from both Pen Roc and York Stone. He was a member of Saint David's Evangelical Congregational Church in Dover, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife, Mr. Elicker is survived by three brothers, Wilbur, Donald, and Glenn; seven sisters, Romaine, Isabelle, Grace, Phyllis, Charlotte, Judy, and Doris; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son, Scott A. Elicker. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh, with his Pastor, The Rev. Pat Teaford, officiating. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
