Donald Mayo II

YORK God's angels came and carried to heaven Donald Ashton Sam muel Mayo, II, infant son of Tyra Bowie and Donald ''Don'' Mayo, on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, from York Hospital. In addition to his loving parents, Donald leaves to cherish his memory two big sisters, Taneerah Santiago and Natalia Santiago, both at home; maternal grandparents, Cheryl and Dale (Jami Shabazz) Preston of York; great-grandmother, Mary Kinnard of York; paternal grandparents, Rebecca Tyler Moore and Thomas Holland, Sr., both of York; great-grandmothers, Mary Tyler and Carolyn Smith, both of York; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Donald was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Isabela Keller, Benjamin Kinnard, Tommy Mayo, and Donald Hopkins. Family and friends may come to a memorial service at 9 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, at the John H. Danner Funeral Home, 822 E. Market St., York. Prayers will be offered by his grandfather, Jami Shabazz. Burial will immediately follow in ''Babyland'' at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. ''Briefly in our arms, forever in our hearts.''
