RALEIGH, N.C. — John David Linton died Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Raleigh.
He was born Jan. 7, 1982 in Durham and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He studied finance at the University of Georgia in Athens and at UNC Pembroke. He was employed by the N.C. State Employees Credit Union in Raleigh as a senior loan officer in a West Raleigh branch and more recently in the SECU corporate offices.
David is survived by his parents, Sid and Isabella Linton of Rockingham; a sister, Clarissa Harris and husband Andrew of Rockville, Md.; a nephew, Zach Harris, and a niece, Annette Harris, also of Rockville; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Fisher of Hillsborough, N.C.; and a loving extended family.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with interment alongside his Linton grandparents, the late Sidney and Clarissa Linton of Rockingham and Wakulla, Fla.
