WICHITA, Kan. — Joseph Walter "Joe" Linton, 77, loving husband and father and retired from Cessna service management, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015.
Joe enjoyed working on his rental houses, eating T-bone steak, NASCAR, baseball and traveling every year to North Carolina to visit his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Lillie Linton; and sister, Evelyn English.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Linton; daughters, Nita Linton-Cole and Tammy Linton-Millington; stepsons, James (Hanh) Linton and Tony Salinas; brothers, Elton Ray (Sandy) Linton, Wayne Barney (Debbie) Linton and William Bobby Linton; sister, Doris (Horace) Moree; and grandchildren, Ashley, D.J., Melissa, Monica, Makayla, Savana, Samara, Jesse and Wayne III.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday with the funeral service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, both at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel.
Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.

Joe was always helpful when parts were not readily available . this made a big difference in getting the aircraft out on time. We still have monthly get-together s to remember old friends and tell old war stories
