Mr. Garner Ray "Punch" Thomas Jr, 54, of Yuma passed away December 24, 2013 at YRMC. He was born February 9, 1959 in Tucson, AZ.
A Yuma resident for 54 years, Punch loved to go camping and fishing with his family. He loved watching the Cardinals play football.
Survivors include his mother, Betty June Thomas; daughter, Andrea and 2 granddaughters; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry (Judy) Thomas and Dale (Debra) Thomas; sisters, Connie Marquis and Wanda Shepard; nieces and nephews, Dana (Joel), Jorita, Danny (Joyce), Shannon (John), DeWayne (Debbie), Michael, Dusti (Julian), Jason (Rikki) and Michelle. He also has many great nieces and nephews, who he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his father, Garner Ray Thomas Sr and his sister, Cathy Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at Johnson Mortuary on December 28, 2013 at 1 p.m.

Dale and I miss you very much. You have always been good to Dale and I and always there for us. Those that knew you know that you had a good heart, sense of humor. We were going to go on the coat train ride this spring but you beat Dale and I to it. You took the train to heaven. Love and memories in our heart to your heart.
