Pulliam Jr., Charles Hunt "Chuck"* - Yuma  
Charles Hunt Pulliam Jr. born October 10, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents Charles H. Sr. & Violette Pulliam, died May 21, 2016 in Yuma, Arizona after a long illness. "Chuck" served six years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and then settled in Yuma, AZ, where he worked for Sherwin Williams Paint and Sears. He played trombone in a Dixieland Band and became an accomplished woodworker. When he became a Yuma Police Officer, Chuck found true meaning to the saying "Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life". He retired from the Yuma Police Department at age 62. Chuck is survived by beloved wife of 23 years, Jacquie Rodgers of Yuma, Son: Jeffrey Lee Pulliam (Ann) and daughter Maria Elena Pulliam, all of Phoenix; step-son Stephen Rodgers of Richmond, VA, brother Rance Pulliam of Yuma and several cousins, nieces, nephews and his precious little dog Callie. Please join us for a brief ceremony celebrating his life on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. on the lawn at the Yuma Police Department, 1500 S 1st Avenue, Yuma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Chuck's name to the Humane Society of Yuma.

Charles Hunt Pulliam Jr., 85, of Yuma, died May 21, 2016, in Yuma. A police officer and veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Indianapolis, Ind. Services are pending. Funeraria del Angel Kammann is handling arrangements, including private cremation.
