William J. "Bill" Snow(1936 - 2014)

William J. "Bill" Snow passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Yuma. He was born April 25, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, the son of Leslie M. and Pauline Snow.

He was raised and educated in Yuma. Bill was a U.S. Army Vet. He became a business man and owned three small businesses at one time. The primary one, Suburban Sanitation, he established and operated for many years. He retired in 1986. Bill was an outdoors man and an active member of Yuma Elks Lodge, #476, for 40 years. He served as a Trustee for 30 of those years. Bill loved car racing, and raced in Yuma and Imperial, California, during the late '60's and early '70's.

Bill is survived by his wife, Charlene; sister, Loyanne Perry of Yuma; stepdaughters Janis Tremper (Mike) and Jackie Parsons of California; nephews Kevin Perry and Gregory Perry (Melissa) of Yuma; niece Paula Brock (Jeff) of Colorado; four step grand children; 7 step great grandchildren, and several great-nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Yuma Elks Lodge at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Yuma, the , or . Burial will be private for the family at a later date.
