Edsel Galbraith Obituary
Ed and his wife, Loretta, lived in California until 2002 when they moved to Yuma. Ed served in the U.S. Navy, he was a member of the American Legion Post 19 in Yuma and Post 686 in Oak View, CA. Ed was a "jack of all trades" but for much of his working life he was a major appliance repairman, retiring from Whirlpool Corp in 1998.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Evart and Wavie Galbraith; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; and his son, Edsel "Eddie" Wayne Galbraith. He is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Loretta; children, Larry Daffern, David Daffern, Nancy Gulla, Jeanine Bohannon, Jeanette Galbraith; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Dee Galbraith; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial get-together of family and friends will be held in California to celebrate his life; the date has not been determined.
