Kathleen Grove Obituary

Kathleen Lee Richardson Grove age 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2011 peacefully at her home in Yuma. She was born March 31, 1925 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Max and Lee Williams.

Kathleen married her high school sweetheart Bert Richardson, on September 25, 1943. They farmed in Astoria, Missouri for 6 years before moving to Idaho in 1956. Kathleen had a long and successful banking career in Nampa, Idaho beginning in 1957 as a teller and retiring as a bank examiner in 1988. She was president of the Credit Women's International and a member of Eastern Star. After her retirement she moved to Yuma in 1989 where she made many new friends and met and married Burnett Grove. Kathleen was an active member of the Nazarene Church in Nampa Idaho and attended the Lutheran Church in Yuma. In 2006 she moved to Emerald Springs where she was a member of the board and active in many activities.

Kathleen is survived by four children, Cheryl (Gerry) Lewis of Land O Lakes, FL. Mike (Kathy) Richardson of Yuma, AZ, Rebecca (Bob) Turk of Nampa, ID. and Mary (Ralph) Kean of Sterling, VA; her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Emerald Springs Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. and interment will be held in Nampa, Idaho at a later date.
