Joshua Matthew Collins, 29, died on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Josh was born in Yuma on February 10, 1984 and graduated from Cibola High School.

Josh enlisted in the U.S. Army in November of 2005 and served in Iraq from December of 2007 through February of 2009. His decorations included the Army Commendation Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star AR, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Expert Marksmanship Badge with Rifle Bar. SPC Joshua Collins was honorably discharged from the Army and at the time of his death was a member of the 224th Military Police Company, Army Reserves, in Phoenix.
A loving father, son, and brother, Josh is survived by his son, Ian; his father, John; brother, Christopher; grandparents Jackie and Novella Collins; and a whole host of the Collins clan.
An interment service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, AZ
