Rosella Hill Obituary
Rosella "Rose" Hill, 73, entered into eternal peace on Friday, April 26th, 2013, in Grand Junction, Colorado, at the beautiful Hospice Palliative Care Center. In remembrance of Rose and her loving life, her family is planning a Celebration of all the wonderful everlasting gifts she gave so many later this year in Yuma, Arizona. Rosella "Rose" Hill left us for heaven on Friday, April 26th, 2013. Life changed and there are no words to describe the wonderful beautiful person she was. As a wife, mother, teacher, friend, and woman she shined brightly with kindness, love, and enjoyed helping others. She is deeply missed and will always remain in our hearts.

Rose was born and raised in Alabama, and after graduation she fell in love with Stanley "Buzzie" Hill while he was stationed on base with the U.S. Army. They married on November 7th, 1960, then moved to Somerton, Arizona, where they enjoyed an adventurous life together for fifty years. She attended college at Arizona State University and Arizona Western College. Rose was a wonderful asset to the offices at O.L. Carlisle and San Pasqual Schools, where all of the children knew and loved her. She was top in jewelry sales at Best for many years. She retired from each job, but one of her most important achievements was being a Board Member of Crossroads Missions, helping others was one of her many gifts. Rose was a wonderful mother, with the kindest and gentlest of souls. She had the most loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Rose was involved for many years in 4-H with her daughters. She leaves many loving memories to be cherished by her daughters and their families, Debi Burgess Senac (Roy), Tonia Folks (Courtland), Patricia Thompson (Eddie) and Tracy Bunz (Benard), along with her grandchildren Carissa Moser, Tara Thompson, Travis Thompson, Triston Folks, Talus Folks, Benjamin Bunz, Joshua Bunz, and great granddaughter, Kenzy Moser.

For Buzzie and Rose's 53rd wedding anniversary on November 7th, 2013, their best friend Sam Day, will fly Rose's ashes over the original Hill Homestead where Buzzie's ashes were also spread. They will remain with us in our hearts, and with each other in eternity. As her family, we were blessed to be loved and to love her always.

On November 9th, 2013, we will have a remembrance gathering in Yuma from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the American Legion. If you have questions, or would like to let us know you will join us please contact mdsenac@hotmail.com for further information. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Crossroads Mission in Rose Hill's honor.
