Brenda V. Wilson (Queen Mother), 47, passed away due to ovarian cancer on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 6, 1963, in Hastings, Minnesota to Lt. Col. US Army (Ret) Roger A. Myers (deceased) and Judy Myers of Sierra Vista.

Brenda had three siblings, Allan Myers of Tampa, Florida, Sheila Myers-Gropp of Tampa, Florida and Allysia Hemsworth of Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Leavenworth, Kansas. Brenda married MSgt. USMC (Ret) Scott Wilson from Springdale, Arkansas on May 5, 1984. They had two children, Brent, 26, and Aaron, 23.
Brenda was licensed by the state of Arizona as an Assisted Living Manager, and worked for many years at Emerald Springs Assisted Living Community where she held many positions to include Associate Administrator. Brenda concluded her professional career as co-owner of Missing Piece Care Management Services. Brenda enjoyed life: spending time with her family and friends and cherishing the time with her three grandchildren followed by visits from her nieces and nephews. Brenda was not only known for her kind heart but being very crafty with any task presented just like Martha Stewart except cooking.
Viewing services will be held Monday, May 30th, 2011 at 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Sunset Vista with Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services to be held Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 at 9:00 am at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church followed by grave site services.
