Deacon Dan Mulloy Obituary
Deacon Dan Mulloy went to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, August 24, 2013 in Yuma Arizona. He was born in Brownsville Texas on September 15, 1944.

He graduated high school at Adrian Catholic Central and completed his teaching degree at Central Michigan University. Deacon Dan was a retired High School History Teacher and coach at Akron-Fairgrove High School in Fairgrove Michigan. In Michigan he belonged to the Michigan Jaycees, and he was President of the Michigan State Bean Festival. Deacon Dan was a Lifetime Member of the Michigan coaches Association. During his coaching years in Michigan he had several State champions in track.

Deacon Dan and his wife have resided in Yuma Arizona since 1989. He also retired from teaching and coaching at Kofa High School and coached track and field at Yuma Catholic High School. On June 14, 2003 He was ordained a Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church in Tucson Arizona. Deacon Dan served as a Deacon at Immaculate Conception Church. He served in many capacities for the church. Deacon Dan was a spiritual director for the Cursillo movement. He was on the board of Trustees for Yuma Catholic High School, Parish Council at IC, Prison Ministry, Hospital Ministry, Diocesan Pastoral Council, and many other spiritual missions.

Deacon Dan is survived by his wife of 45 years Lauren Mulloy of Yuma. His son Christopher Mulloy and his wife Christina and their children; Justine, Maverick(Ariel), Jacob, Christean, and Jordan of Las Vegas Nevada; his daughter Andrea Luna and her husband Derek and their children; Ryan, Nathan, and Luke of Brighton, Colorado; brother Tom Mulloy from Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Judith Mulloy of Oklahoma; Nephew Craig Mulloy and his wife Alicia and daughter Zoey from Huntsville Alabama; and beloved niece Pamela Lachcik-Berry and her husband Buddy Berry from Yuma and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Harriet Mulloy; Sister Suzanne Mulloy; and granddaughter Emily Luna.

The Wake will be held at IC Church from 5-9 PM with a Rosary at 7PM on Thursday, August 29, 2013. The funeral mass will be said at I.C. Church at 10:30AM on Friday, August 30, 2013 with Msgr. O'Keeffe. Donations may be made in his name to; IC Elementary School, and Yuma Catholic High School.
