E. Berdine Farley, beloved mother and grandmother, was born to Delbert L. Stapley and Ethel B. Davis on January 5, 1919, in Mesa, AZ. She married Grant A. Farley on September 26, 1940. They had four children, E. Bruce Farley (Shirleen), Janice R. (Gary Greer), Leona B. (Bruce) Murray of Centerville, UT and Dianne L. (Robert) Schmitt of Prescott, AZ. She and Grant Farley were co-owners of Farley's Hardware in Yuma, AZ from 1954 to 1977.

She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served as Relief Society President, Young Women's Leader, Cultural Refinement Teacher and in many other positions. She loved working in the garden, summers in Pinetop, AZ, and traveling.
Berdine died September 26, 2013 in Prescott, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant, and two children, Janice Greer and E. Bruce Farley. She is survived by two children, 22 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren. Her viewing will be held at the Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1ST Avenue, Yuma, AZ from 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Her funeral will be held at the Yuma LDS Church Stake Center at 4300 W. 16th Street at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, October 4, 2013. Berdine will be buried in the Yuma Cemetery next to her eternal companion, Grant, following the funeral service.
